Today is Chinese Medical Staffs Day

On November 3^rd, 2017, the State Council approved the application of the health and Family Planning Commission (today's Health Commission) for "establishing Chinese medical staffs' Day", and agreed to set August 19^th of each year as "Chinese medical staffs' Day" from 2018.

Chinese medical staffs' Day is a festival for health and health workers established with the approval of the State Council. It reflects the care and affirmation of the party and the state for more than 11 million health and health workers.
