The high temperature and humidity environment in summer puts higher demands on the maintenance of emergency ventilators. The following are targeted maintenance suggestions:
1. Cleaning and disinfection
Humidifier: Pour out overnight water and replace with purified or distilled water to prevent scale and bacterial growth.
Key sterilization: Dampness in summer can easily breed bacteria, so neutral cleaning agents (such as diluted vinegar) should be used to soak pipelines and masks for sterilization and deodorization.
2. Storage and Environment
Heat dissipation and moisture prevention: Ensure that there are no obstructions (such as blankets or books) around the emergency ventilator, keep it away from heat sources (such as electric heaters), and avoid high temperature damage to components. Store in a cool and ventilated place, and if necessary, place in a dehumidification box to prevent moisture.
Temperature control: It is recommended to use an ambient temperature of 24℃ -27℃, and the temperature difference between indoor and outdoor should not exceed 5℃ (the optimal air conditioning temperature is set to 26℃ -28℃).
3. Operation precautions
Power outage standard: After stopping the machine, wait for the emergency ventilator to completely stop working before unplugging the power to prevent sudden power outages from damaging core components.
Prevent water ingress risk: Do not exceed the water level limit in the humidification tank. When moving, remove the humidification tank first to avoid liquid spillage into the main unit.
Tip: Sweating increases in summer, and the face mask headband is easily eroded by sweat stains. It is recommended to clean the headband weekly and use a tissue to absorb the sweat from the silicone pad to extend the lifespan of the accessories.
